As a photographer, one of my favorite things to do is to capture the unique personalities of high school seniors in their senior portraits. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful senior portrait session in a beautiful garden setting that also had stunning views of the bay, including a pier. It was the perfect setting to capture this senior’s spirit and personality.
We scheduled the session during golden hour, which provided us with the perfect lighting to create some stunning images. We started in the garden, capturing some candid shots as the senior strolled through the paths. The greenery provided a beautiful backdrop that added to the beauty of the images.
As we walked through the garden, I encouraged the senior to relax and be herself, capturing her natural movements and expressions. These candid images are some of my favorites because they truly capture the senior’s personality and spirit.
We then moved to a spot with a stunning view of the bay, including a pier. It was the perfect location to showcase the beauty of the area and the senior’s love for the outdoors. I used a documentary style to capture the senior’s interactions with the environment, including the pier and the water.
I also used a mix of candid and posed shots to create some stunning images that truly captured the senior’s personality. We had a lot of fun trying different poses and experimenting with different angles to create unique and beautiful images.
Overall, this senior portrait session was a wonderful experience, and I had a great time capturing the senior’s spirit and personality.
