As a photographer, one of my favorite things to do is to capture the essence of high school seniors in their senior portraits. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph a girl’s senior portrait session at golden hour, and it was a beautiful experience that I will never forget.
We started the session with some staged portraits in a beautiful outdoor setting. The golden hour light added a soft and warm glow to the images, creating a beautiful atmosphere that perfectly showcased the girl’s beauty and personality in a lifestyle photography style.
As we moved around the location, we also captured some candid shots of the girl as she explored the area. These images truly captured her carefree spirit and showcased her love for the outdoors.
One of the highlights of the session was when the girl decided to dance on the dock. It was an incredible moment, that ended up being some of my favorite shots of the session. The golden hour light added a magical quality to the image, and it perfectly captured the joy and freedom of youth as well as documenting one of her favorite activities during high school.
Throughout the session, I used a mix of staged portraits and candid shots to create a diverse collection of images that perfectly captured the girl’s spirit and personality. We had a lot of fun trying different poses and exploring different areas to create unique and beautiful images.
Overall, this senior portrait session was a wonderful experience, and I feel honored to have been able to capture such a special moment in this girl’s life.
