What is great about Sadie? Seriously??? This sweet girl is beyond her years in maturity. She exudes warmth, happiness, compassion, and love. Just watching her interact with her friends and family during her Bat Mitzvah celebration, I was able to witness all of these characteristics over and over. During her speech at Rodef she spoke about helping the person that is on the outside…make their way to the inside and I saw her do that time and time again throughout the day/evening. She was always the one grabbing someone and giving them a hug, pulling them into the circle for dancing, grabbing the little girl to put on her lap during the big group photo…she was relishing the fact that she was the center of attention NOT to ‘be’ the center of attention but to help ‘other’s’ become part of it and be the center. I have never seen this before in a young adult which is why I say she is beyond her years. To have this sense of others and the desire to make others feel joy like she DEFINITELY does, is a gift. Big thanks to Jayne with Just Jayne Events who was there not only at Congregation Rodef Sholom but also there at Terrapin Crossroads hours before making sure the party decor and details were perfect prior to their arrival. And also to Nica at Terrapin who made sure that the the food, beautiful drinks, and the ambience were as always over the top and lastly to Denon and Doyle who are always there to keep the party a rockin!
